Our obi cap is a unique design, crafted from genuine Japanese obi scraps. Each piece is an original work, adding a distinctive accessory to your look. By wearing this cap, you are adopting an authentic product, made from materials with genuine cultural and historical value. The pattern of each cap varies, making each model unique.

What is an Obi?

The obi is a wide, traditional Japanese belt worn with kimonos during ceremonies or special events. A true symbol of refinement, it is an essential element of traditional Japanese clothing. By reusing obi scraps to create our caps, we offer you the opportunity to wear a piece of Japanese history, while giving new life to meaningful materials.

The Kiku Kikkō motif – Chrysanthemums in stylized hexagons

This striking motif combines two powerful elements of traditional Japanese aesthetics: the kiku (chrysanthemum), an imperial symbol of longevity and nobility, and the kikkō (hexagonal motif), inspired by the turtle shell, representing longevity and stability.

The golden flowers stand out beautifully against a rhythmic background of vibrant color blocks—purple, green, blue, brick red—that add a modern energy to this classic obi fabric.

A unique piece that celebrates the formal elegance of Japan while assuming a graphic and bold style.
